Myrtle Beach is located between North Myrtle Beach and Garden City. The area boasts hundreds of restaurants and numerous attractions. Myrtle Beach is positioned on a barrier island in Long Bay, surrounded by the Atlantic Intracoastal Waterway and the Atlantic Ocean. This area is considered to be the central metropolitan area of upper South Carolina. The climate is mild and subtropical.
