Calabash, NC has been acclaimed as "The Seafood Capital of the World." Calabash is located 25 miles north of Myrtle Beach and just a few minutes north of Little River. Calabash sits just above the South Carolina state line. This small fishing town has just under 2,000 residents year-round and welcomes thousands of visitors each year. Visitors of Calabash can enjoy watching shrimp boats carrying loads of shrimp as well as small fishing boats float by.
