Myrtle Beach Vacations Under The Boardwalks
Myrtle Beach's boardwalk spans the beach from 14th Avenue North Pier to 2nd Avenue Piers. The 1.2 mile-long oceanfront Boardwalk offers walkers, joggers, or bicyclists a convenient path to enjoy breathtaking ocean views. While meandering down the Boardwalk, stop in a few of the shops and restaurants that line the path. Plyer Park is also located along the Boardwalk. Plyer Park is a great place to spend the day or to find evening entertainment.
The SkyWheel Myrtle Beach is an oceanfront attraction with 42 see-thru gondolas that can each accommodate six people. This area of the boardwalk also features a Jimmy Buffet's Landshark Bar and Grill, a gift shop full of souvenirs and mementos and a large deck overlooking the water.
If you're looking for evening fun suitable for the whole family, spend an evening on the Myrtle Beach Boardwalk. The Boardwalk hosts Hot Summer Nights, a summertime festival featuring plenty of kid friendly entertainment. Live concerts, bounce houses, face painting and jugglers all frequent Hot Summer Nights. Fireworks displays, acrobatics, stilt walkers, human statues and even a strolling bagpiper will make your trip to the Myrtle Beach Boardwalk unforgettable.
