No diving or jumping from piers is allowed and only canvas rafts may be used in the ocean. If you’re traveling to the Grand Strand with a beloved pet, make sure you pack a leash. All animals on the beach must be on a leash that is no longer than 6 feet. Animals are not allowed on the beach between 9 a.m. - 4 p.m. from June 1st to September 1st. No open containers are permitted in any public place, including our beautiful beaches.
